Where did July go?

I have been meaning to post an update for July. Where did July go? It's been a busy month. Jazelle and Nevaeh came to visit for a month, Grandma & Grandpa came for three days and Aunt Teresa come for 12 days. Here is a quick recap of what we've been up to.

We spent two days at Yosemite National Park. We explored the Northern half of Yosemite.

Here the girls are in the Merced River, where we spotted a black river snake and collected some sparkling granite.

We were in the pool almost everyday. We were lucky enough to have 100+ degree days when they were here.












We went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.













We saw some diving tigers.












We went to San Fran twice while the girls were here.

The Fourth in Monterey, CA.

We spent the fourth of July weekend in Monterey. There were no fireworks, but we were able to see a few across the bay. We spent our time at the amazing aquarium, the fisherman's wharf and cannery row. It also happened to be the weekend of a huge motorcycle race. The MotoGP Nationals were happening. It made for great people watching.

On Sunday, we spent the day at Pebble Beach and Carmel. It was very beautiful. We will definitely go back again.
