We picked SF (instead of skiing).

To kick off our three week long spring break, we made a spontaneous weekend trip to SF. What fun.
Kathryn and I went to explore the amazing Exploratorium. Too fun! (and educational).

Then we met Geoff down by Crissy Field and the beach. What a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge!

Without a plan or reservation made, we decided to park at Ghirardelli Square and eat at McCormick and Kuleto's. We had some amazing seafood and a view to match! We then took a walk down by the wharf and picked up some of the Blue Mermaid's famous clam corn chowder to go. On our way back to the Ghirardelli's, I found two bucks lying in the grass (which made Kathryn's day!) and we ended our spontaneous day sipping coffee in the square, eating our free samples of chocolate, sitting by the fountain, listening to the jazz musician. What a pleasant day.

How Does This Keep Happening?

I am sad to report that I have no softball pictures to post, yet. It's not that I didn't have my camera with me, I did. It's that the team Kathryn is on was coach-less...until no one volunteered....and I was the only one left! So, I am this year's softball coach. I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to start taking pictures while coaching.
This is beginning to be a pattern that happens to me quite often. Last year, I took Kathryn to sign up for Girl Scouts and they were without a leader...and I became one of the Girl Scout Leaders.
Here is a picture of her new hairdo (in a pony). It was inspired by her older cousin Jazelle (age 15).
And her new glasses...

Finally Found the Camera...

Sorry it's been so long. We have been busy trying to find that happy medium between our normal routine and the craziness that is "moving" ....we've had to work in extra time each day just so we can dig through a box to find something as simple as a pair of socks! Let alone, trying to find the camera.  Which box was that in again?
We have finally dug out, (well almost). Kathryn loves her new school and has reinvented herself once again.  Besides her new glasses, she is again known as Kathryn (and not Kat), although I call her that sometimes.  She has more homework and loves doing it.  I think she was bored at the last school.  She is now a Sanders Sailor. This is where I work too! We walk everyday and enjoy good conversation on the way to and from school.  Geoff is working crazy hours, and is busy, busy, busy, on top of the chaos of moving.

Kathryn is still in gymnastics, twice a week.  She's getting pretty good.  Tonight she begins softball.  Unfortunately, 'cause she's still six, she has to play tee ball.  We're ok with that because she needs to learn the game.  I will post some pictures of that as soon as I can.  Until then, here a few other pics.

The Backyard (and Payton's Dog Run)

No Pool, but a nice hot tub.

And the Garage (which no longer looks like this!)
