Well....hello there.

Although my excuse seems a bit overly simple, my reasoning for not checking in since Feb. 10 is that I have started a new Graduate Certificate.  Between unpacking...and packing (which I will explain in a minute) and these 12 graduate credits, life at the Pyka house has been a bit crazy.

What is our latest adventure, you ask?

Well, last weekend we surprised Kat and took her to Disneyland for her 8th birthday.  (Stay tuned for pics).
I finally ended my school year, which I physically moved my third grade classroom three times....and will be moving my classroom furniture one last time (tomorrow) as I prepare to teach first grade in the fall.
Geoff has taken a new job in Sacramento, which means, we....are....moving....(haha!)

We are in the midst of the search for a home to buy in Elk Grove, CA.  It's a fantastic suburb of Sacramento.  We are very excited about it, but have a bit of buyers fatigue.  If you get a chance to google homes for sale in that area, you will find out that we have over 2500 choices.  It's all a little much, and we are in direct competition with cash investors (boo!!!).
