We picked SF (instead of skiing).

To kick off our three week long spring break, we made a spontaneous weekend trip to SF. What fun.
Kathryn and I went to explore the amazing Exploratorium. Too fun! (and educational).

Then we met Geoff down by Crissy Field and the beach. What a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge!

Without a plan or reservation made, we decided to park at Ghirardelli Square and eat at McCormick and Kuleto's. We had some amazing seafood and a view to match! We then took a walk down by the wharf and picked up some of the Blue Mermaid's famous clam corn chowder to go. On our way back to the Ghirardelli's, I found two bucks lying in the grass (which made Kathryn's day!) and we ended our spontaneous day sipping coffee in the square, eating our free samples of chocolate, sitting by the fountain, listening to the jazz musician. What a pleasant day.
